Filter
Using a filter can be a handy tool for identifying specific groups
of customers. You can filter by zip, city, state, or any other
field that is available on the Customer screen. Once you have
filtered your customers to the group that you are interested
in, you can then send letters to this group, print labels for
this group, or print reports against the group. Filtering is
a very powerful feature.
Clicking once
on the filter clears all fields on the Customer screen. Enter
any criteria that you want to filter the current recordset by
and click filter again. The will filter all of the records based
on the data that you have entered and display the first filtered
record.
Example: You
might want to see only customers that reside in the 76049 zip
code. Click Filter once. Enter 76049 in the Zip Code field.
Click Filter again. Only customers that reside in 76049
will be shown.
To reset the
filter to all customer records, click Filter once. This
will clear all of the fields. Click Filter again. This
will select all customers.
You can use
more than one field to filter by. If changes have been made to
the current record, Visitor
Management Software
will prompt to save changes.
